The museum, which is located near Songjeong Beach, has more than 600 different kinds of toys including action figures, dolls, model vehicles and even rides - all of it housed in a gigantic eight-story building in Busan.
Each floor has its one theme. In “Movie Land” on the second floor, you’ll find toys from two dozen children’s movies - including the wildly popular Harry Potter, Shrek and Batman films - as well as other materials and items related to these flicks.
On the third floor is “Miniature Land,” where you can check out more than 300 kinds of tiny vehicles, from planes and motorcycles to cars and tanks. There’s even an area where children can race remote-controlled cars.
When you reach the fifth floor - passing by the offices on the fourth floor - you’ll come across “Doll Land,” where Korean characters including Dooli, Bbung Bbungi and Pororo sit alongside Japanese characters such as Kitty and Pocket Monsters and Disney greats such as Mickey Mouse and Winnie the Pooh.
You can also see a 12-meter, four-lane miniature of the Gwangan Grand Bridge - a well-known symbol of Busan City - complete with miniature cars driving on the road, at this fun museum aimed at both kids and adults alike.
On the sixth floor you’ll find “Play Land,” which essentially is an indoor playground with slides, iron bars and miniature houses in addition to rides.
On the seventh floor, visit “Craft Land,” where children can make 80 different kinds of toys using things like Legos, coloring books and paper.
The museum also has an area with ping pong tables and pinball games, among other exhibits.
